Foundation's Aims:Grants are awarded for selected projects that offer innovative and creative ways of improving the quality of life in Israel, or which encourage pluralism in Israeli society. Grants are being awarded in the year 2001 for projects that promote Jewish identity. unity or mutual respect among young people (aged 13-23), and also for projects that encourage pluralism in Judaism.

Grant Limitations:1. Applications will only be accepted from associations (amutot) that are recognized and legally registered in the State of Israel.
2. Funding will only be granted for a specific project, and not to cover the ongoing activities of the organization.
3. The project must be carried out in the State of Israel.
4. The following activities are not entitled to funding: capital expenditure or acquisition, conferences and meetings, research, publications or productions, preservation of historical sites, establishment of a capital fund for grants or loans.
5. Grants will not exceed 75% of the total budget for the project, must be approved on an annual basis, and, in general, will not be given for a period exceeding three years.
